Officers in Englewood were called to a home on West Englewood Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Saturday for a report of a stabbing.

When police arrived, they entered the house.
It is unclear what happened next, but at least one officer opened fire, killing someone in the house.
Neighbors spent most of the day trying to piece things together.
"I don't know if it was a guy or if it was a lady, I just know that somebody got taken out in a stretcher, they got compressions. People are saying the coroner came, so we're staying out here trying to figure out what's going on," said one neighbor named Darryl.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was also on the scene after detectives from various agencies responded.
