Street closures during Columbus Day Parade

NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York City's annual Columbus Day Parade marched through Manhattan Monday.

The parade began on Fifth Avenue at East 44th Street and ended at East 72nd Street.

The New York City Police Department the following street closures and anticipated traffic delays:

Formation:
-43rd Street between Vanderbilt Avenue and 6th Avenue
-44th Street between Vanderbilt Avenue and 6th Avenue
-45th Street between Vanderbilt Avenue and 6th Avenue
-46th Street between Vanderbilt Avenue and 6th Avenue
-47th Street between Vanderbilt Avenue and 6th Avenue
-5th Avenue between 43rd Street and 47th Street

5th Avenue between East 47th Street and East 72nd Street

Dispersal:
-5th Avenue between 72nd Street and 75th Street
-72nd Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue
-73rd Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue
