BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are investigating a disturbing discovery in Brooklyn.

Community activists say two nooses were found over the past week hanging on trees outside of libraries in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Crown Heights.

Now, investigators say they are looking into the noose found in Bedford-Stuyvesant last Thursday as a possible hate crime. So far, they have made no arrests.

Activists report that another noose was recently found outside a library in Crown Heights, but they have not yet received a report about that one.
