It happened at 14 James Place in Thompson on Saturday around noon. The explosion was heard for miles, damaging surrounding homes.

The three injured, including at least one child, were taken to area hospitals where they remain in serious condition and are expected to survive.
Jose Pereira, 80, was in the house next door working on his computer when the blast sent debris raining own on him. He was briefly trapped, but was pulled from the rubble by one of his neighbors.
Pereira says he is a bit shaken, but he only suffered a small scratch on his hand.
"Boom! Next thing I knew, roof came over my head," he said.
Breanna Smith, who lives across the street, says both she and her son were sleeping when it all happened. The bedroom windows were blown in on her and her son. Thankfully they both were not injured.
"So I looked across the street and I heard there was an explosion," she said.

The cause of the explosion remains under investigation, but officials think it may have been caused by a propane tank explosion.
