The victim was shot one time in the leg while sitting inside a grey Honda.
Witnesses told Eyewitness News reporter Lucy Yang that the victim's mother and a neighbor came running to the wounded teenager and that an ambulance arrived quickly, as did police.
Multiple eyewitnesses said they heard the mother informing the paramedics that her 18-year-old daughter is pregnant.
"There was a pregnant lady on the corner. I don't know if she was innocent bystander but she was shot in the leg," witness Ozzy Orengo said. "Her mother came running and so did a neighbor. Helped her into ambulance."
She was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she's expected to make a full recovery.
