2 injured after being hit by intoxicated, unlicensed driver in Queens: Police

QUEENS, New York (WABC) -- Two people were injured after being hit by a drunk driver in the Corona section of Queens, according to police.

Police say a 14-year-old girl and a 71-year-old man were struck near 102 Street and Martense Avenue.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The 40-year-old driver, Luis Saula Qunidi, is facing several charges, including driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
