1 person critically injured, 3 firefighters hurt amid Inwood apartment fire

INWOOD, Manhattan (WABC) -- One person is in critical condition after a fire broke out inside a fourth-floor apartment in Inwood just before 7 a.m. on Monday.

FDNY responded to the fire at 101 Sherman Avenue, an apartment building with six floors. Citizen App video taken by a neighbor showed smoke billowing from an apartment window.

A building resident was critically injured and three firefighters are receiving medical treatment.
