The fire broke out around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday at a home on Pinetree Lane in Roslyn Heights.
According to Nassau County Police, responding officers upon arrival found the house fully engulfed in flames. All occupants in the home were evacuated prior to police arriving on scene.
Firefighters from Roslyn and neighboring fire departments quickly responded to extinguish the flames. The fire was put under control in about an hour.
