2 hurt amid apartment fire in Jackson Heights

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens (WABC) -- Two people were hurt after fire broke out at an apartment building in Jackson Heights, Queens on Sunday morning.

Fire officials say the blaze began just before 7:30 a.m. on the top floor of a six-floor building on 76th Street.

Over 140 first responders rushed to the scene.

Two people were treated at the scene by EMS.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
