2 men fatally shot inside Howard Playground in Brownsville, Brooklyn

BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Two men were fatally shot inside a playground in Brooklyn Friday night, police said.

Police responded to reports of shots fired inside Howard Playground, near Mother Gaston Boulevard and Glenmore Avenue, around 10:23 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the neck and a 35-year-old man who had been shot in the chest and ankle.

The 33-year-old victim was taken to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The 35-year-old victim was transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was also pronounced dead.



No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
