The men, 67, and 81 were stabbed in an unprovoked attack just after 7 a.m. according to police.
The 67-year-old died, and the other victim was being treated at the hospital for his injuries.
Police arrested 61-year-old Henry Werner who they say is homeless in the stabbings.
