WOODBRIDGE, New Jersey (WABC) -- Two trucks collided on the New Jersey Turnpike causing a fiery scene that shut down lanes of traffic and caused big delays.

The crash happened on Monday morning on the northbound side of NJ Turnpike between 11 and 12, between Woodbridge and Carteret.

The collision took place in the outer truck lanes that head toward the Grover Cleveland service area.

The tractor-trailer became fully engulfed in flames.

Some lanes of traffic were closed while the investigation and cleanup from the crash was underway.

So far, it is unclear if anyone was hurt.
