6 families left homeless in Suffolk County condo fire

PORT JEFFERSON, Long Island (WABC) -- A massive fire at a condo in Suffolk County has left six families without a home.

The flames broke out around 2:30 Monday morning on Leeward Street in Port Jefferson.

Four condos were destroyed. No one was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting the families affected by the fire.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the blaze.
