Elderly woman shoved to ground, cane stolen outside of Manhattan Target

MANHATTAN, New York City (WABC) -- An 88-year-old woman was shoved to the ground by a suspect who stole her cane outside of a Target in Union Square.

The woman was attacked at the corner of East 14th Street and Union Square East at around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

She was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital, where she was said to be stable.

No arrests have been made.
