Airport shuttle bus hits wall at Newark Airport; 13 people injured, 3 seriously

NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- More than a dozen people were injured when a shuttle bus jumped a curb and crashed at Newark Airport.

The crash happened just after 3:00 a.m. Monday at Terminal B on the Departures Level 3 roadway.



Thirteen people were hurt when the shuttle bus hit a concrete wall.

Three people were seriously injured, but none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening. The other 10 people suffered minor injuries.



The Port Authority Police Department says that due to police activity, departing Terminal B passengers should be dropped off on Level 2. The Departures Level 3 roadway is closed.
