19-year-old charged in connection with shooting inside Freehold, NJ library

FREEHOLD, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a shooting at a library in Freehold, New Jersey, last week.

19-year-old Kanye Faucette of Keansburg was charged with attempted murder and weapons violations, police said.

A man was shot multiple times in the middle of the day inside of the library, and is now in stable condition, police said.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting.

A second person, who is 20 years old, was arrested on weapons charges, police said.
