QUEENS (WABC) -- Police in Queens are investigating a Thursday night crash that resulted in the deaths of two individuals, and injuries to a third. The driver, a 20-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 19-year-old male passenger was transported to Jamaica Hospital and pronounced dead. A third individual, a 14-year-old male, was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Police say the car, a 2014 Mitsubishi Lancet, was traveling westbound on North Conduit Avenue at a high rate of speed. Investigators say the driver swerved to overtake another vehicle then swerved back into the left lane and continued toward the entrance ramp of the westbound Belt Parkway. He then lost control of the car, drove onto the grassy shoulder and struck a light pole and a tree.

The identities of the victims have not been released pending family notification.
