5-year-old girl hospitalized after being shot in her ear in the Bronx: police

BRONX, New York (WABC) -- A child was rushed to hospital after being shot in her ear in the Bronx on Wednesday.

Police say the shooting happened at 1007 Southern Blvd. around 5:40 p.m.

A 5-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to her ear.

Sources told Eyewitness News that she was not the intended target.



She was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.



No arrests have been made, and it's not clear the motive of the shooting.
