BRONX, New York (WABC) -- An NYPD Inspector has officially been fired after he was charged with sexually assaulting a subordinate.

The NYPD confirmed 46-year-old Jeremy Scheublin is off the force.

The victim is suing him and the City of New York.

Her lawyers say on New Year's Day of 2025, he threw her onto a couch at a precinct in the Bronx, groped her, and told her he wanted to "make biracial babies" with her.

The NYPD says Internal Affairs investigated the claims and referred the case to the Bronx DA.

Scheublin has pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted rape and assault.

He's due in court in October.
