69-year-old man shot twice in the Bronx; police searching for suspect

CLAREMONT, The Bronx (WABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a 69-year-old man was shot in the Bronx on Monday, according to officials.

The victim was shot once in the arm and once in the torso shortly before 3:30 p.m. on East 170th Street and Fulton Avenue in the Claremont section, according to police.

He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he's expected to recover.



Police say a male suspect was last seen fleeing from the scene.
