The FDNY says the bus crashed into scaffolding around 4:35 p.m. at 115 E. 41 St. between Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue.
The Department of Buildings said the Port Authority bus jumped the curb, impacting the side of 101 Park Avenue before continuing into a sidewalk shed in front of 370 Lexington Avenue.
The DOB said there was damage to the loading dock garage area, but no structural damage to the building. They said the damaged sidewalk shed will be repaired.
Citizen App video shows the bus lodged into the scaffolding.
"Wow I've never seen that before. A bus in the wall," one witness said.
