NEW YORK (WABC) -- On this episode of "Up Close," we are talking to Rep. Yvette Clarke and the executive director of Port Authority.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is a huge agency. They oversee regional transportation from all major airports and various bridges, tunnels and seaports in our area.

In February, Kathryn Garcia took over as executive director.

Garcia joins "Up Close" to discuss how the major airports in our area are bracing for big travel this summer between the World Cup, the America 250 celebration and summer getaways.

She is also talking about recent scares at our local airports.

And Congresswoman Yvette Clarke is now the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus. She joins us to talk about her fight for civil rights, justice and equality.

ABC News Washington Bureau Chief Rick Klein and veteran political consultant Hank Sheinkopf also join Bill and Liz to discuss the week's top political headlines.

Up Close with Bill Ritter and Liz Cho airs Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. on Channel 7, WABC-TV in New York City.
