Up Close: Growing concern over measles uptick as children start school in New York City

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- There's a growing concern over measles as children get ready to go back to school amid an uptick in cases.

This is happening as health officials are also dealing with West Nile in parts of our area. So, what can we expect as we move into the fall?

On this episode of "Up Close," we'll have New York State's health commissioner join us to discuss.

Also, with so many schools about to return, or already in session, we will look at what teachers and students are facing in the coming year.

We'll discuss the fight over teacher-assisted bonuses in New York City and why New York City Hall is headed to court to block them.
