Drone captures footage of shark swimming near surfers

A California man hoping to capture some cool aerial drone footage at Pismo Beach captured something much scarier -- a shark swimming in the water near unsuspecting surfers.



Dustin McCaslin was flying his drone around last Saturday morning when he noticed a dark shape near the surfers. He initially thought it was seaweed, but the object turned out to be a shark, according to the San Luis Obispo Tribune.

McCaslin took the footage to a lifeguard, who agreed the figure in the water looked "very sharky," and went out to investigate.
