CONCOURSE VILLAGE, The Bronx (WABC) -- There is some welcome relief for residents of an apartment building in the Bronx whose elevator had been out-of-service for months.

The elevators are now back in service as of Friday.

Tenants of 747 Concourse Village West were climbing up to 10 flights of stairs since early February.

The building's two elevators had been unreliable since water damage from a February fire knocked them out of service.

According to residents, one elevator was repaired but stopped working again about a week ago.

Now, all the elevators are working again.
