BRIGHTON BEACH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A laundromat employee was stabbed to death and his 19-year-old son was injured following an argument inside a laundromat in Brooklyn.

Police say that on Sunday evening, Walid Noureldin and his son got into a dispute with another man at the Laundry King on Neptune Avenue in Brighton Beach.

The son told Eyewitness News that the fight started when a customer started cursing at him, claiming he bumped into him. When his father intervened, the customer became violent.

Noureldin was stabbed in the torso, and his son was slashed in his forehead and had to get stitches.

Noureldin was pronounced dead at NYU Langone Hospital.

The suspect got away on foot. No arrests have been made yet as officials continue their investigation.
