Ghosts, ghouls and headless horsemen will creep through the streets of downtown for the 23rd annual parade. It went from a small, local parade with just kids in the neighborhood walking in their costumes to 128 floats and 15,000 people.
People come from all over the world to see the parade -- some from Scotland and the UK. Businesses also go all out with the decorations.
Store owners like Connor Regan say they see a spike in customers each year.
"It's a huge boost. I feel like it's a little sleepy town. And around Halloween, the whole place just blows up," Regan said.
Organizers call the event a 'labor of love' -- they say they start as early as February to work on it.
The Parade kicks off at Patriots Park at 5 p.m. Saturday, heads down Broadway and ends on Main Street with a block party. Officials say roads will start shutting down at 1 p.m.
Paradegoers are advised to go into neighboring villages to park and take the train in.
