Firefighters were called to the hospital at 4422 Third Ave. in the Belmont neighborhood just after 3 a.m. for reports of a fire on the sixth floor of the nine-story building.
Citizen App video from the scene showed fire trucks and firefighters outside the hospital as crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
The FDNY said 38 units and 120 fire and EMS personnel responded. The fire was brought under control at 4:16 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
