FDNY looking for cigarette tosser in connection with Staten Island fire

STATEN ISLANDv (WABC) -- Fire marshals are looking for a man they said tossed a cigarette, igniting a building fire.

Around 1 p.m. Sept. 26, according to the New York City Fire Department, firefighters responded to reports of a fire at 130 Bay Street on Staten Island.

A fire had broken out on the first floor of a two-story commercial building housing the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce. The fire was under control by 1:30 p.m. There were no injuries. The building and offices inside were significantly damaged.

Fire marshals would like to speak to someone who was caught on camera throwing away a cigarette. The man is described as wearing jeans, a dark-colored shirt and a backpack. In the video, he appears to throw the cigarette while walking by the building.
