"This is what we need to bring to the city to change the way we look at spinning, said Aisha Prielozny, a Flow Cycle instructor.
Prielozny just opened the only Flow Cycle studio in New York on Rector Street, and is hoping others will fall in love with this workout, which she truly believes is changing the landscape of cycling.
Her students call her "AC" and what makes her cycling class so unique is that the bikes move from side to side.
"This bike flows with us and then you go, oh my god, i have freedom so once you get used to the flow, it's a beautiful experience," said Prielozny.
It's a little awkward at first but once there, riders settle in. The bike is called a Realryder, and it has a single flywheel in the back to help control speed.
It is a total body workout. In most 45-minute cycling classes, attendees can burn about 500 calories.
