FOREST HILLS, Queens (WABC) -- There was a large turnout in Queens on Wednesday night to remember a 13-year-old girl who was killed while riding a personal watercraft in Florida.

Rachel Nisanov's funeral was held in Forest Hills.

She is the daughter of a rabbi and her body is set to be flown to Israel on Thursday.

Nisanov and her sister were both injured when their personal watercraft hit a concrete dock in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday afternoon on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Police said the two juveniles jumped the wake of a passing vessel, lost control, and collided with the concrete dock.

Her 16-year-old sister remains in the hospital in Florida.

Rachel Nisanov is the daughter of well-respected Queens rabbi, Shlomo Nisanov.

The sisters are students at Bnos Malka in Queens.

Authorities, including Fort Lauderdale Police and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
