LOWER MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A Lower Manhattan hotel was evacuated as a precaution after someone sprayed bear spray inside.

The spray was released just after 8 a.m. Monday on the 20th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton New York Downtown on Stone Street.

A few people who came into contact with the spray were evaluated by EMS.

A couple hundred people in the hotel are being evacuated as the floor is ventilated.

A 28-year-old woman and suspect were both out Sunday night at a Pride event.

They got into a verbal dispute regarding luggage Monday morning.

The suspect allegedly sprayed the victim with bear mace.

The suspect fled the location and is being sought. Police apparently know who they are looking for.

A second victim is 78-year-old woman who had difficulty breathing.

So far, there are no arrests.
