Two hurt after car crash into barricade in North Plainfield, New Jersey

NORTH PLAINFIELD, New Jersey (WABC) -- A car crashed into a lane divider overnight on Route 22 in North Plainfield.

Two people were seriously hurt.

It appears that the car came off of Somerset Street and drove directly into the barrier.

Traffic has been impacted around the area as crews work to clear the accident.

Police are still investigating exactly what happened.
