LOS ANGELES, California (WABC) -- With "Freakier Friday" hitting theaters on Aug. 8, Jaime Lee Curtis reflected on how the sequel - and the original "Freaky Friday" from 2003 - came to be, speaking with Joelle Garguilo.
Curtis explained that she actually called up Bob Iger about doing this movie with an older Lindsay Lohan, which fans had been asking her about forever.
"I kept saying, 'Well, you know what? We can't make a sequel until Lindsay's old enough to have a teenager,'" said Curtis. "They went, 'Jamie, she's 35.' I was like, 'She's not 35!' They were like, 'She's 35.' And I was like, 'Oh, sure! She could've had a baby at 20! Bob Iger!' So when I got home, I called Bob and we talked about it, and now we're here."
