Officials say the stabbings happened at 5:30 p.m. at 4996 Broadway Ave. in Inwood.
Police say a 20-year-old man was slashed in the neck and taken to Harlem Hospital.
A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the neck, and a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the hand and back. Both were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital by private means.
The 24-year-old died from his injuries. The other two victims are expected to be OK.
According to police sources, a person has been taken into custody, and charges are pending.
It's still unclear what led to the stabbings.
