Hyde Pierce will act as the Master of Ceremonies for CaringKind's 30th Anniversary Forget-Me-Not Gala, celebrating Connect2Living.
"There are still so many people suffering," Hyde Pierce said. "But there has been incredible progress in care, in research into the best ways to look after people."
Seymour will be honored at the event as the Connect2Hope Honoree.
"This is globally threatening to society in every possible way. And it's, to me, one of the most important things is to be involved with whatever you can do to help caregivers, research, or people with Alzheimer's," Seymour said.
CaringKind is a non-profit organization that offers guidance, education, and a dedicated helpline for caregivers of people living with Alzheimer's and related dementias.
Connect2Living is CaringKind's signature initiative and program series.
The ceremony will be held on Monday, June 8, at Cipriani in Midtown Manhattan.
