JD Vance set to make announcement on Long Island about crackdown on waste, fraud, and crime

BETHPAGE, New York (WABC) -- Vice President JD Vance will be on Long Island on Wednesday.

It comes a day after he was at 7 Hudson Square for an appearance on ABC's "The View."

The vice president's office says he will be making an announcement in Bethpage on the administration's crackdown on waste, crime and fraud.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, who is running for governor of New York, is expected to be there.
