1,000 drones will take flight in a patriotic performance at 9 a.m. to celebrate the holiday.
The drone show will salute 250 years of America's freedom and will honor those who have served and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the United States Military with patriotic images displayed in the air.
The Parks Department said the best seat for viewing will be near the Central Mall.
The air show, which is usually on Memorial Day, will now be on the 4th of July weekend in celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
