Long Island man arrested with multiple 3D ghost gun parts

PORT JEFFERSON, Long Island (WABC) -- Police on Long Island arrested a man on charges that he had parts for multiple ghost guns.

Police say the various components were made by a 3D printer.

Authorities identified the suspect as Tyler Schmalenberger, 30, of Port Jefferson.

Officers went to the suspect's home after someone complained he pointed what looked like a handgun at them on Friday.



The suspect is accused of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
