Suspect on the run in deadly Bushwick beating

BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 42-year-old man was apparently beaten to death on a Bushwick street early Friday, and police are searching for the suspect who fled the scene on foot.

Police say the victim was found unconscious and unresponsive on Grattan Street near 152 Grattan Street just after 3:45 a.m. in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.

The man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation remains ongoing.
