39-year-old man shot while sitting in his car in Bushwick, Brooklyn

BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 39-year-old man was shot while sitting in his SUV in Bushwick, Brooklyn in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Police say the suspects opened fire on the victim who was in his Dodge Durango on Cooper Street just after 3:25 a.m.

Thirteen rounds were fired, striking the man in the right shoulder and hand and damaging and the window on the driver's side. The suspects then took off in another vehicle.

Emergency workers rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and the police investigation is ongoing.
