Man slashed in face at Bronx subway station, attacker on the run

PARKCHESTER, Bronx (WABC) -- A 21-year-old subway rider was slashed in the Bronx Thursday night.

The victim was attacked at the Zerega Avenue station in Parkchester just before 11:35 p.m.

He was slashed on the left side of his face.

The victim took the number 6 subway train to the Castle Hill Avenue station, where he was met by an ambulance and taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect, a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, fled the scene.



So far, no arrests have been made.
