Man stabbed in the neck in Lower East Side of Manhattan; no arrests made

LOWER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man is recovering after being stabbed in the neck in Manhattan early Sunday morning.

The attack happened around 1 a.m. on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side.

Upon arrival, police say responding officers found the 30-year-old man with a stab wound to his neck. First responders transported the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

There are currently no arrests as authorities now try to determine what led up to the stabbing.
