He was last seen in just a shirt and no shoes.
In this frigid, snowy weather that's frightening prospects.
Wednesday night as yet another snow shower moved through Queens, Heather Arabadjis and some friends were on day six of a desperate hunt.
"All I want to do is find my dad," Arabadjis said.
From their base at the Neptune Diner, they plotted their search through the streets of Astoria, not far from where 63-year-old Phillip Arabadjis disappeared last Thursday.
That's when a surveillance camera at his apartment building captured him walking down the block, wearing no jacket or shoes.
No one has seen him since.
"All I can think about is that my father is in this for an extended period of time, I can't even, it just makes me so upset I want to cry," Arabadjis said.
"It's cold, I'm out here 10 minutes I'm already cold. The man is out here without shoes, he's been out here for a while, and I know he's out here somewhere, we're going to find him," said Ralph Trionfo, a family friend.
But so far, there is no sign of him.
And with even colder weather on the way, Heather's search is only more frantic.
"He has schizophrenia and diabetes," Arabadjis said.
She says she won't rest until she finds her dad.
