LOS ANGELES -- There are speeder bikes, AT-ATs and a little green baby who's a menace to the Anzellan race!

"The Mandalorian and Grogu" is the first "Star Wars" movie headed to the big screen in seven years, and a newly released trailer offers a deeper look at the film's allies and enemies.

Footage highlights more scenes featuring Embo, the bounty hunter from the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," along with Zeb Orrelios, a Rebel captain who wishes Mando "good luck."

Mando also removes his helmet, revealing Pedro Pascal, who says, "The old protect the young, and then the young protect the old."

Grogu is seen alongside the Anzellan creatures, a tiny species that previously helped Mando and Grogu in the Disney+ series, "The Mandalorian."

Sigourney Weaver appears as Colonel Ward, wearing the classic orange Rebel pilot uniform after disembarking from an X-wing fighter.

Jeremy Allen White also stars as Rotto the Hutt, a member of the species made famous by Jabba the Hutt in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi."

The trailer closes with the familiar Mandalorian pledge, "This is the way," followed by a silhouetted shot of Grogu.

"The Mandalorian and Grogu" premieres in theaters May 22.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Lucasfilm, Disney+ and this ABC station.
