Measure 4.0 earthquake strikes Fremont

UNION CITY, Calif. -- A preliminary measure 4.0 earthquake struck at 2:41 a.m. 2 miles northeast of Fremont.

As of 3:10 a.m., there have been at least five aftershocks reported, the strongest being a measure 2.7.
