LONG ISLAND CITY, Queens (WABC) -- Police are looking for the men behind a robbery spree in Queens as one of the victims is desperately searching for his two stolen French bulldogs.

The two victims are neighbors and were mugged outside a new luxury housing building in Long Island City on Saturday afternoon.

The first victim seen on surveillance video is a 27-year-old man. The video shows the suspect and victim shaking hands, before the victim is led to the back of a white car.

Once inside, Eyewitness News was told by the second victim, that the 27-year-old's hands were zip tied before $800 and his phone were stolen.

The second victim said he started getting texts from the 27-year-old, which isn't unusual since they're friends.

He said he now believes the suspects were going through the first victim's phone to lure another victim to the car.

The second victim said he came to meet who he thought was his friend, but instead was met by the suspects who forced him into the car.

He said his hands were zip tied and he started fighting with the suspect, eventually breaking free, but not before he was mugged of his apartment keys and phone.

Police say the suspects broke into the home and stole his two French bulldogs, 3-year-old Cookie Monster and 4-year-old Pinky.

The victim also said the crooks took off with expensive clothes and shoes.

The owner of Pinky and Cookie Monster is heartbroken. He's had them since they were puppies.

He says he's heard the dogs may be in the East New York area and is hoping people will help bring them home.

Police said one suspect is about 20 to 25 year old, about 5'8" tall and 180 pounds.

The other is about 25-30 years old, about 6' tall and 220 pounds.
