EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A 2-year-old girl and her grandmother who were reported missing in Brooklyn have been found safe.
Officials say the grandmother, 56-year-old Khadija Begum, was last seen pushing 2-year-old Zakirah Shafiq in her stroller on Saturday near 2617 Avenue D in East Flatbush.

They had not been heard from for hours.
But police say they were found just after midnight in good condition.

There was no explanation for what happened. They were taken to the hospital for observation.
