WEST MILFORD, New Jersey (WABC) -- The body of a missing swimmer last seen Tuesday evening in West Milford has been recovered.

Eshan Aman Ullah, 18, of Randolph, was with a group of friends just before 7 p.m. in the Clinton Reservoir located within the Newark Watershed Property.

At one point the group was swimming to a small island when Ullah disappeared.

Police and divers searched the water Tuesday night but suspended their search due to darkness.

The search resumed on Wednesday and police confirmed shortly after noon that his body had been recovered.

No swimming signs are posted along the area with signs warning people to stay off the property. But it is apparently a place where young people gather to swim and party.

"This keeps happening over and over again and they are young kids, college, high school kids," West Milford resident Shari Caruso said.

Ullah was a former student at the Morris County Vocational School District.

Newark Watershed does patrol the area, but their patrols usually stop in the afternoon so kids tend to go there after the patrols stop.
