Road rage incident apparently sends crashing cars into Brooklyn building, pedestrian

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- An apparent road rage incident sent two cars crashing into each other, a pedestrian and then a Brooklyn building.

The vehicles collided on Fulton Street in Crown Heights just after 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

A black Cadillac, driven by 56-year-old Anthony Hayes, collided with a dark colored BMW driven by 43-year-old Robert Walker.

The force of the crash sent the BMW careening into the building.

A 20-year-old man was struck by one of the vehicles in the crash.



All three were taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Both drivers were arrested.

Walker is facing charges of vehicular assault, criminal mischief, and going through a red light.

Hayes is facing charges of vehicular assault, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, DWI, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and reckless driving.
